Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging maths lessons aligned with the MYP and AERO standards using inquiry-based teaching methods.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student curiosity and critical thinking.
• Design and implement effective curriculum materials that support student understanding and achievement.
• Utilize digital tools such as Google Classroom, IXL, and Khan Academy to track student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and support student learning across disciplines.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote academic and personal growth.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues through school databases and communication platforms.
• Support student well-being through advisory and pastoral care responsibilities, where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience teaching children
• Demonstrated experience with inquiry-based teaching methods in Mathematics
• Proficiency in using educational technology such as Google Drive, Docs, Forms, Sheets, and Classroom
• Ability to use learning platforms like Google Classroom, IXL, and Khan Academy
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Current teacher licensure or certification

Preferred

• Experience with the MYP or IB curriculum
• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Advisory or pastoral care experience
• Experience with curriculum development
