Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
- Plan and develop effective, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and scientific inquiry
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the continuous improvement of the science department
- Support students in developing a deep understanding of scientific concepts and their real-world applications
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure academic success
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong interest in science subjects relevant to Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
- Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
Preferred
- Experience in education or science-related fields
- Previous teaching experience (not essential)
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology
- Experience with curriculum development
- Strong organizational and time management skills
