Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons to GCSE and A Level standards
- Ensure students make outstanding progress across all key stages
- Contribute to a supportive but challenging school culture
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and independently where needed
- Take an active role in the school’s extra-curricular programme
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and the values of Catholic education
- Support the development of new teachers and contribute to departmental leadership
- Participate in the school’s professional development and training initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science
- Ability to teach to GCSE Grade 9 and A Level A* standard
- Commitment to Catholic education and the school’s ethos
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent student outcomes
Preferred
- Experience in developing and leading extra-curricular activities
- Background in promoting diversity and inclusion
- Previous experience in a Catholic school or similar educational setting
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and resources
- Demonstrated ability to support and mentor new teachers
