Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons to GCSE and A Level standards
  • Ensure students make outstanding progress across all key stages
  • Contribute to a supportive but challenging school culture
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and independently where needed
  • Take an active role in the school’s extra-curricular programme
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and the values of Catholic education
  • Support the development of new teachers and contribute to departmental leadership
  • Participate in the school’s professional development and training initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science
  • Ability to teach to GCSE Grade 9 and A Level A* standard
  • Commitment to Catholic education and the school’s ethos
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent student outcomes

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and leading extra-curricular activities
  • Background in promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Previous experience in a Catholic school or similar educational setting
  • Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and resources
  • Demonstrated ability to support and mentor new teachers
