Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all key stages, including A Level Mathematics and GCSE Statistics.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate actively in the life of the school, including extracurricular activities and professional development.
  • Support the school’s commitment to student well-being and academic excellence.
  • Contribute to the appraisal and development of teaching staff through the school’s appraisal policy.
  • Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives to enhance teaching practice.
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Ability to teach A Level Mathematics and GCSE Statistics.
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience with Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and a willingness to support their development.
  • Experience in a school with a strong track record of Ofsted judgements.
  • Familiarity with the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools and its values.
