The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join a highly successful and motivated department. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Science at Key Stage 3 and Physics at Key Stage 4 or 5. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science at Key Stage 3 and Physics at Key Stage 4 or 5.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a challenging and engaging science curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving academic excellence and preparing for future studies, including university and careers in science-related fields.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to innovate and enhance teaching practices.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote science education and student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
  • Ability to teach Science at Key Stage 3 and Physics at Key Stage 4 or 5.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a school environment, ideally in a selective or high-achieving setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a coeducational setting.
  • Experience with Sixth Form teaching or leadership.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and curriculum development.
  • Experience with extracurricular activities or leadership roles within a school.
