The Opportunity:

A Science Teacher is needed to inspire and educate students from Year 7 to Year 13. This role is central to delivering a high-quality, British curriculum-focused science education. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the academic and personal growth of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students across Years 7 to 13.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the British curriculum and school standards.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Support student progress through regular assessment, feedback, and personalized learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school, enhancing the overall student experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
  • Stay up to date with scientific developments and integrate them into the curriculum.
  • Encourage student participation in science-related extracurricular activities and competitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree and teaching qualification, preferably from a British university.
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience in a British curriculum school.
  • Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong commitment to student-centered learning and professional development.
  • Willingness to contribute to the school’s pastoral and co-curricular programs.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student achievement in science.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching technologies and methods.
  • Experience in a multicultural environment.
