The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Spanish Teacher with French to join our team. This role will involve teaching Spanish to students from Year 7 to Year 13 and offering French to at least Key Stage 3 students. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to a school that values academic depth, pastoral care, and a vibrant co-curricular programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Spanish to students from Year 7 to Year 13, delivering a high-quality and engaging curriculum.
• Deliver French lessons to Key Stage 3 students as required.
• Support students’ academic and personal development through meaningful pastoral involvement.
• Contribute to the co-curricular programme, including extracurricular activities and school events.
• Stay up to date with subject developments and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
• Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s academic standards.
• Provide regular feedback and assessments to support student progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant degree and teaching qualification.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in a British curriculum school.
• Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Spanish up to A-level with a track record of success.
• Commitment to putting students at the centre of teaching practice.
• Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous learning.

Preferred

• Experience teaching French to Key Stage 3 students.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to contribute to a dynamic and supportive school community.
• Experience with technology-enhanced learning methods.
