Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across key stages, including KS5.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science.
  • Collaborate with the Director of STEM to promote STEM opportunities and lifelong learning.
  • Support the development of the Science department through shared best practices and innovation.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to staff training initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Science teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Ability to teach Chemistry at A’ Level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an outstanding school or academy.
  • Background in Catholic education or values.
  • Experience with STEM initiatives or curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
