Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons across key stages, including KS5.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science.
- Collaborate with the Director of STEM to promote STEM opportunities and lifelong learning.
- Support the development of the Science department through shared best practices and innovation.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to staff training initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Science teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Ability to teach Chemistry at A’ Level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
Preferred
- Experience working in an outstanding school or academy.
- Background in Catholic education or values.
- Experience with STEM initiatives or curriculum development.
- Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
