Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
  • Deliver engaging lessons using the latest pedagogical techniques and technologies.
  • Develop and implement real-world projects that enhance students' employability skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and innovative Science faculty.
  • Support students in preparing for assessments and qualifications.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress.
  • Engage with employer partners and industry professionals to enhance curriculum relevance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Physics.
  • Experience in teaching at Key Stage 4 and above.
  • Commitment to innovative and student-centered teaching methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Background in employer-led or industry-linked education.
  • Experience in using digital and virtual learning technologies.
  • Previous experience in a UTC or similar institution.
