Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge students
• Support the academic progress and personal development of students
• Collaborate effectively with the Science Faculty team
• Participate in the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced Science curriculum
• Provide pastoral care and support to students where appropriate
• Stay up to date with developments in Science education and pedagogy
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continued improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Science Teacher with relevant experience
• Strong classroom management and delivery skills
• Commitment to student achievement and personal development
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

• Experience with teaching girls and boys in a mixed setting
• Experience with CPD and professional development
• Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Science education
• Experience with safeguarding and promoting student welfare
