Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies that promote student achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Support the school’s commitment to STEM and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and student outcomes.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant Science subject specialism.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to student achievement and a passion for inspiring young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take on responsibilities beyond teaching.
Preferred
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 5 or willingness to develop this skill.
- Experience with curriculum development or leadership roles within a department.
- Knowledge of STEM initiatives and extracurricular activities.
- Experience working with diverse student groups.

- Competitive salary range from £34,398 to £52,490 per annum.
