Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science across the 11–18 age range, with a specialism in Chemistry or Physics.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students and promote a deep understanding of Science.
  • Support the school’s ethos and core values in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning strategies.
  • Participate in professional development and leadership opportunities.
  • Manage classroom environments effectively and maintain strong student relationships.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular and pastoral activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
  • Ability to teach Science across the 11–18 age range.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos and core values.
  • Proven ability to manage a classroom and deliver engaging lessons.

Preferred

  • Specialism in Chemistry or Physics.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership roles.
  • Passion for Science and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
