The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and professional Receptionist to join our team and provide essential front-line support to students, staff, and visitors. This role is vital in maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of the school and ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors
  • Deliver excellent customer service and administrative support to the school
  • Manage general clerical tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Use a range of technology and Microsoft Office to support school operations
  • Undertake first aid training and support safeguarding procedures
  • Work flexibly and adapt to the demands of a busy educational environment
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and work independently when required
  • Support the school's mission and values in all interactions

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience or skills in a similar role
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ICT skills and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to complete first aid training
  • Passion for supporting education and young people
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of school operations and administrative procedures
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection
