Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Religious Education across the 11-18 age range with enthusiasm and expertise.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that encourage critical thinking and personal reflection.
• Support the spiritual development of students in line with the school's ethos and values.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
• Participate in the life of the school, including chaplaincy and pastoral activities.
• Stay up to date with developments in RE and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
• Work closely with the Chaplaincy team to ensure alignment with the school's mission.
• Contribute to the planning, preparation, and marking of lessons.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
• Ability to teach RE to students aged 11-18.
• Passionate about RE and committed to inspiring students.
• Strong interpersonal and presentational skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

Preferred

• Experience in a school with a strong Christian ethos.
• Background in Chaplaincy or pastoral care.
• Experience with curriculum development in RE.
• Familiarity with the Catholic faith or other world religions.
