Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and cross-subject learning opportunities.
- Support student learning through individualised feedback, assessment, and intervention where needed.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a love of learning.
- Participate in whole-school initiatives, professional development, and training opportunities.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and STEM-related events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience in Science teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to student progress and high-quality teaching and learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Ability to teach across other creative subjects.
- Experience with cross-developmental Trust work or national projects.
- Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
