Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons that engage and inspire students.

  • Support students in developing key scientific skills and knowledge.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Participate in professional development and coaching programs to continuously improve teaching practice.

  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and science-related events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge in science.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with instructional coaching or mentoring.
  • Background in working with diverse student populations.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
