The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels
- Support students in achieving excellent examination results through effective planning and assessment
- Work collaboratively with the Science department to improve teaching and learning outcomes
- Use ongoing assessment and feedback to drive student progress and attainment
- Encourage a love of Physics through creative and innovative teaching methods
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and departmental initiatives
- Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities
- Support the school’s mission and values, including its commitment to the Catholic ethos
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Physics
- Experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 5
- Commitment to high-quality planning and delivery of lessons
- Ability to assess and provide meaningful feedback to support student progress
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to support the school’s Catholic ethos and values
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental development
- Familiarity with curriculum innovation and best practice in Science education
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Involvement in extracurricular activities or student enrichment programs
