Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and resources to support practical science activities.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Support students in developing a deep understanding of scientific concepts and their real-world applications.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of science teaching and learning.
- Encourage a love of science through interactive and hands-on learning experiences.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in science education.
- Proven ability to deliver effective science lessons and support student learning.
- Strong subject knowledge in science, with a passion for the subject.
- Experience in curriculum development and delivery at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Commitment to raising student achievement and fostering a positive learning environment.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A-level sciences or post-16 science qualifications.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and the use of technology in the classroom.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives and professional development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and support staff.
