The Opportunity:

As a Sixth Form Student Progress Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting students through targeted mentoring and academic interventions. This is a chance to make a meaningful impact on student success and development, helping them build confidence, resilience, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring and academic support to identified students
• Deliver structured intervention programmes and study support sessions
• Support students in developing organisational skills, resilience, and motivation
• Monitor and track student progress and engagement
• Collaborate with teaching and pastoral staff, parents, and carers
• Help create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
• Work proactively with students to overcome barriers to learning
• Contribute to the development and implementation of targeted support strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience or strong interest in working with young people
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility, proactivity, and commitment to student success
• Enthusiasm for helping students overcome barriers to learning

Preferred

• Experience in education or youth work
• Knowledge of student progress and intervention strategies
• Experience with pastoral care or mentoring
• Understanding of Christian values and ethos
