ICT Teacher with Second Subject - Inspire students in Key Stage 4 with ICT and Business Studies.

The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic team as an ICT Teacher with a second subject specialism in Business Studies. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to Key Stage 4 students, helping them develop essential skills and knowledge in both ICT and Business Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in ICT and Business Studies to Key Stage 4 students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Support student progress through differentiated instruction and individualized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Social Sciences department to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in professional development and training to maintain high standards of teaching.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.
  • Work closely with support staff and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in ICT, Business Studies, or related fields.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or actively working towards QTS.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with students of varying abilities.
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet Key Stage 4 curriculum requirements.
  • Basic understanding of classroom management techniques for secondary school pupils.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching ICT or Business Studies at the secondary level.
  • Experience working with students with additional needs or special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Familiarity with teaching students with autism or other complex needs.
  • Experience with vocational qualifications or functional skills teaching.
