Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons tailored to the needs of all learners.
• Develop students’ skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and a range of media.
• Encourage creativity, experimentation, and individual artistic expression.
• Teach the principles of art and design, including colour, form, texture, and composition.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, including exhibitions and displays.
• Create a stimulating, creative, and well-resourced learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular creativity and student engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Hold a B.Ed. or bachelor’s degree major in Art or equivalent, or PGCE with QTS.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Be able to share exemplary teaching practices.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and staff.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching both inside and outside the classroom.
