The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Art Teacher to design and deliver a dynamic visual arts curriculum aligned with IGCSE and A-Level standards. This role offers the opportunity to inspire creativity, mentor students, and contribute to a vibrant arts program that supports academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive visual arts curriculum aligned with IGCSE and A-Level examination board requirements.
• Supervise and evaluate visual arts teachers, instructors, and support staff.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students pursuing visual arts, including portfolio development and university application support.
• Coordinate with faculty to deliver exam-focused workshops and monitor student progress through mock exams.
• Collaborate with external organizations to organize field trips, guest artist visits, and interdisciplinary projects.
• Manage and maintain visual arts facilities, equipment, and resources to ensure a safe and functional learning environment.
• Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and developing students' skills for academic success.
• Promote professional development for arts teachers through CPD opportunities and external partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Native English speaker
• Bachelor’s (or above) in visual arts, drama, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in international schools
• Strong teaching abilities in visual arts and drama, with the capacity to inspire creativity and develop students’ performance potential
• Relevant education certifications or teaching qualifications such as PGCE or QTS
• Cross-cultural teaching experience and adaptability to work with students and parents from diverse backgrounds

Preferred

• Solid performance skills in visual arts and drama, including knowledge of acting techniques and stage presence
• Familiarity with modern multimedia teaching tools and technology
• Experience with IGCSE and A-Level programs
