Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
- Develop and implement engaging, student-centered teaching strategies that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
- Stay up to date with developments in Computer Science and integrate relevant technologies into the classroom.
- Support students in developing digital literacy and preparing for future academic and career opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in line with school policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
- Exceptional subject knowledge in Computer Science, with experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
- Proven experience teaching IGCSE, AS/A Level and International Baccalaureate (IB).
- A strong track record in delivering outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
- Commitment to contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology integration.
- Experience working in an international school environment.
