Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum of England.
- Support students in developing their understanding of psychology through practical and theoretical learning.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s pastoral and extra-curricular programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Participate in professional development and training initiatives.
- Engage in school-wide events and activities that promote student wellbeing and community spirit.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
- Exceptional subject knowledge in Psychology, with experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
- Proven experience teaching IGCSE, AS/A Level and International Baccalaureate (IB) qualifications.
- A strong track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Commitment to contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience with evidence-based teaching methods and continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching strategies and technologies.
- Experience working in an international school environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative in collaborative projects.
