The Opportunity:
We are seeking an inspiring and highly qualified Secondary Business Studies and Computer Science Teacher to join a school committed to academic excellence and holistic development. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Business Studies and Computer Science across IGCSE, AS/A Level, and IB curricula.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum of England and the school’s academic standards.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and report regularly on student performance and development.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
- Exceptional subject knowledge in Business Studies and Computer Science.
- Experience teaching IGCSE, AS/A Level, and IB curricula.
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Strong commitment to contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience with the National Curriculum of England.
- Familiarity with Evidence Based Education methodologies.
- Experience working in an international school setting.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and develop creative teaching strategies.
