The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Math Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of students through the Cambridge International Curriculum. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team that values innovation, dedication, and excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students according to the requirements of the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials for class instruction and activities, and manage information on the LMS.
  • Adapt teaching methods, learning strategies, and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
  • Conduct assessments of student attainment, monitor academic progress, and provide feedback.
  • Establish classroom expectations, observe student performance, behavior, and social development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and address academic or behavioral issues.
  • Implement remedial programs for students requiring additional support.
  • Attend faculty meetings, professional development training, and school events.
  • Plan and lead extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic contests.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Education Degree in a relevant field
  • Professional teaching qualification, license, or certification
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in teaching within a formal school environment

Preferred

  • Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Fluency in English (C1 level or higher)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and class management skills
  • Experience in extracurricular program development
