The Opportunity:

As a Year 1 Teacher – Cambridge Program, you will play a vital role in shaping young learners through the Cambridge International Curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators who are committed to academic excellence and student development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics, English, Global Perspectives, and Cumulating Project to students following the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials, and manage information on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Establish classroom expectations and evaluate student performance, behavior, and social development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians to support student learning and address concerns.
  • Implement remedial programs for students requiring additional support.
  • Attend faculty meetings, professional development training, and school events.
  • Plan and lead extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic contests.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for Early Childhood Education.
  • Professional teaching qualification or license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a formal school setting.
  • Fluent English speaker (C1 fluency or higher).

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and classroom management skills.
