The Opportunity:
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students studying A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. The role requires a dynamic and innovative educator who is passionate about teaching across all key stages and contributing to a collaborative, high-achieving faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students across KS3, KS4, and A Level modules.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Support student learning through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.
- Engage in regular reflection and feedback to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
- Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
- Stay updated with the latest educational research and technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Experience or willingness to teach A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics modules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student success and a growth mindset.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-achieving international school environment.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning and Google Apps for Education.
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles within the faculty.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment design.
