The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students studying A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. The role requires a dynamic and innovative educator who is passionate about teaching across all key stages and contributing to a collaborative, high-achieving faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students across KS3, KS4, and A Level modules.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Support student learning through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.
  • Engage in regular reflection and feedback to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
  • Stay updated with the latest educational research and technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Experience or willingness to teach A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics modules.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a growth mindset.

Preferred

  • Experience in a high-achieving international school environment.
  • Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning and Google Apps for Education.
  • Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles within the faculty.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment design.
