Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons at IGCSE and teach all three Sciences at KS3.
  • Develop and implement engaging, student-centered teaching strategies aligned with the CIE curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving academic success through personalized learning and effective assessment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and share best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Stay up to date with the latest educational research and integrate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Physics at IGCSE and teaching all three Sciences at KS3.
  • Strong knowledge of the CIE curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Physics at A Level.
  • Familiarity with using technology in the classroom, including Google Apps for Education.
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on student well-being and holistic education.
  • Previous involvement in curriculum development or leadership roles.
