Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons at IGCSE and teach all three Sciences at KS3.
- Develop and implement engaging, student-centered teaching strategies aligned with the CIE curriculum.
- Support students in achieving academic success through personalized learning and effective assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and share best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and engagement.
- Stay up to date with the latest educational research and integrate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents to support student progress and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Physics at IGCSE and teaching all three Sciences at KS3.
- Strong knowledge of the CIE curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Proven ability to engage and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Physics at A Level.
- Familiarity with using technology in the classroom, including Google Apps for Education.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on student well-being and holistic education.
- Previous involvement in curriculum development or leadership roles.
