The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Secondary Mathematics Teacher to inspire and engage students in Grades 6 to 12. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, problem-solving lessons that foster critical thinking and mathematical reasoning.
• Adapt the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students while maintaining overall class progress.
• Assess and record student development, identifying areas for improvement and addressing them effectively.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Mathematics Department.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school leaders to support student success.
• Support the school’s vision by delivering high-quality, innovative instruction aligned with international standards.
• Participate in extracurricular and enrichment activities that enhance the student experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A qualified teacher with experience teaching Mathematics from Grades 6 to 12.
• Strong knowledge of High School Diploma, IB Diploma (Math AA or AI), or A-Level equivalent curricula.
• Commitment to student-centered learning, innovation, and academic excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage diverse ability levels and promote inclusive learning.
• Experience in developing and delivering engaging, problem-solving lessons.

Preferred

• Experience with international curricula and teaching in a multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme.
• Demonstrated leadership or collaboration experience within a school department.
• Experience in designing and implementing innovative teaching strategies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
