A school opening in August 2026 is seeking a passionate and inspirational Secondary MFL Teacher to shape curriculum design and teaching standards. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new school and contribute to its development from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality MFL lessons for Grades 6–8
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the MFL curriculum
• Support enrichment activities such as MFL competitions, clubs, and extension programmes
• Collaborate with the Head of MFL and leads to ensure continuity and progression
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development
• Teach across multiple key stages as the school grows
• Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
• Engage, motivate, and support students to achieve their full potential

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and French
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Excellent understanding of teaching and learning
• Proficient in using technology to support teaching and learning
• Ability to engage, motivate, and support students
• Reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate
• Positive and enthusiastic member of staff with a growth mindset
• Willingness to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses

Preferred

• Trained in UK Curriculum or International Baccalaureate
• Proven record of increasing student outcomes
• Experience contributing to or leading curriculum development
