Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the school site.
- Ensure the maintenance and safety of school buildings and grounds.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with staff and external contractors to complete maintenance and repair work.
- Support the implementation of school policies and procedures.
- Assist in the supervision of students during non-teaching hours.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to site operations.
- Provide a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a supervisory or site management role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s mission and values.
Preferred
- Experience in the education sector or within a school environment.
- Previous experience in managing school facilities or property.
- Familiarity with school policies and procedures.
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
