The Opportunity:
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a key role in promoting the school’s values and achievements through engaging digital content. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enhancing the school’s online presence and supporting key communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the school’s social media channels with engaging content, including photography and video.
- Design and produce communication and promotional materials, including newsletters, handbooks, and prospectuses.
- Coordinate the production and timely delivery of the school newsletter.
- Maintain stock levels of printed materials and merchandise, and ensure online directories are up to date.
- Support website maintenance and content updates to ensure accurate and current information.
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of admissions and recruitment events for prospective parents.
- Help manage email campaigns and support admissions processes, including school tours.
- Provide general support to admissions and marketing activities across the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in communications, content creation, and proofreading.
- Background in marketing or brand management.
- Ability to manage professional social media accounts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.
- Basic design and photography skills.
- Proficiency in Canva, META tools, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C or above).
- Commitment to the organisation’s values and safeguarding policies.
Preferred
- Experience with digital marketing and content strategy.
- Familiarity with SEO and online engagement best practices.
- Experience in educational or non-profit sectors.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
