The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our Languages department. This is a permanent, part-time role that offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and achievement at all key stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish across KS3, KS4, and KS5 with a focus on student attainment and achievement.
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of language learning.
- Support the school’s commitment to raising standards through innovative teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective curriculum strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience in teaching Spanish at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- A strong track record of driving student attainment and achievement.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Spanish.
- Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and managing a classroom effectively.
Preferred
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or collaborative educational environment.
- Familiarity with the Teachers’ Pension Scheme and commitment to long-term professional development.
- Experience with curriculum development and leadership opportunities within a school setting.
