The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Spanish Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis for a fixed-term maternity cover. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and to contribute to a vibrant, inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons across key stages 3 and 4, up to GCSE level.
• Develop and implement an innovative and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
• Use assessment to inform teaching and learning, ensuring excellent outcomes for students.
• Manage a diverse classroom with strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
• Engage with students and parents in a culturally diverse community.
• Contribute to enrichment activities and school events.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and take ownership of your workload.
• Utilise ICT effectively to enhance student engagement and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Spanish.
• Experience teaching Spanish at key stages 3 and 4.
• Evidence of good teaching practice and strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Commitment to high standards and student outcomes.

Preferred

• Experience working in a culturally diverse setting.
• Experience with enrichment activities or extra-curricular provision.
• Confidence in using ICT to support teaching and learning.
• Experience with assessment for learning strategies.
