The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Assessment Support Teacher - Maternity Cover to join our Data Team and support the Assessment Lead in managing internal and external assessments. This role offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the academic success of students while gaining experience in school administration and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Assessment Lead in the administration of internal and external assessments, including general and vocational examinations
  • Liaise with staff, pupils, parents, invigilators, examination boards, and educational organisations
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of assessment data
  • Assist in the coordination of examination logistics and procedures
  • Maintain detailed records and reports related to assessments
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth assessment processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to support student achievement
  • Stay up to date with assessment policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • GCSE Mathematics and English Language A*-C
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Basic IT skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred

  • A Level and/or degree qualification
  • Experience in school administration or data management
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
