Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and delivery of sports activities and events
• Assist with the development and implementation of the school’s sports programme
• Contribute to the pastoral care and welfare of students in the boarding community
• Collaborate with coaches, teachers, and support staff to enhance student engagement and participation
• Promote a culture of teamwork, inclusivity, and sporting excellence
• Provide guidance and support to students in a coaching or pastoral capacity
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to sports and student activities
• Assist with the organisation of fixtures, matches, and training sessions

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant field
• Enthusiasm and motivation for sport and education
• Commitment to working in a school and boarding environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Coaching qualification in one or more major sports (rugby is an advantage)
• Experience in a school or educational setting
• Experience with pastoral care or student support
• Knowledge of child safeguarding and welfare practices
