The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective sports lessons across primary and secondary age groups.
• Develop and implement a broad and balanced sporting curriculum.
• Support the school's goal to be a leading sporting institution in the region.
• Work collaboratively with the PE department to enhance sporting opportunities for students.
• Promote a positive and inclusive sporting culture among students.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of all school sporting facilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress in sports-related activities.
• Participate in extracurricular sporting events and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience of working with children in a sporting environment.
• Ability to deliver lessons across primary and secondary age groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the development of students through sport.
• Relevant sports coaching qualifications or experience.

Preferred

• Experience in delivering sporting provision in a school setting.
• Background in playing or coaching a variety of sports.
• Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding procedures.
