The Opportunity:
As a Student Services Administrator, you will play a key role in providing essential support to students, staff, and parents. This position is central to the smooth operation of the Student Services Centre, ensuring that all students receive the assistance they need to succeed in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, tutors, and parents/carers.
- Manage reception duties and act as the first point of contact for all inquiries.
- Support administrative tasks for the Student Support, Guidance, and Experience Departments.
- Assist with the coordination of tutorial sessions, pastoral care, and enrichment activities.
- Help with bursary and financial support processes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment within the Student Services Centre.
- Support the smooth running of events and activities hosted by the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of young people.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a similar administrative or student support role.
- Proficiency in using office software and record-keeping systems.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of student welfare and support services.
- Experience with managing student records and data.
- Familiarity with bursary and financial aid processes.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
