Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in their learning through one-to-one, small group, and whole-class interventions.
  • Assist in delivering a knowledge-based academic curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Develop positive relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
  • Collaborate with teachers to enhance the learning experience and support individual needs.
  • Contribute to the school’s leadership programme by inspiring and encouraging pupils to take on leadership roles.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to pupil progress and support.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Practical experience of working with children in an educational setting.
  • Experience of supporting children within a school context.
  • Working knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups of pupils.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
