Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in their learning through one-to-one, small group, and whole-class interventions.
- Assist in delivering a knowledge-based academic curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
- Collaborate with teachers to enhance the learning experience and support individual needs.
- Contribute to the school’s leadership programme by inspiring and encouraging pupils to take on leadership roles.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to pupil progress and support.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Practical experience of working with children in an educational setting.
- Experience of supporting children within a school context.
- Working knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups of pupils.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s mission of leadership development and social action.
