Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative Art lessons across Years 7 to 13.
• Support students in developing their artistic skills, confidence, and creative expression.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the Art curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programmes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage with students beyond the classroom, encouraging involvement in extracurricular and enrichment activities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and growth.
• Maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant degree and teaching qualification, ideally from a British university.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a British curriculum school.
• Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Commitment to placing students at the centre of teaching and learning.
• Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching Art at both GCSE and A Level.
• Strong portfolio of artistic work and experience in creative disciplines.
• Familiarity with British curriculum standards and assessment practices.
• Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives and curriculum development.
