Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
  • Use data to inform planning and improve student outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum within the department
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices
  • Participate in enrichment activities and contribute to the wider life of the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Art
  • Experience teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Excellent classroom management and teaching skills
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and raising achievement for all learners

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level Art
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities
