The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Art Teacher to join our Technical Arts Faculty. This role offers the chance to inspire students, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a school that values inclusivity, aspiration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Art lessons that challenge and support students of all abilities
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Art
  • Accurately assess and track student progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and resilience
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a cohesive curriculum
  • Support the school’s commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high standards in teaching and learning
  • Participate in staff development and contribute to the wider school community

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art education
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement
  • Ability to deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse student needs
  • Experience in working within a school environment that values inclusivity and wellbeing

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
  • Familiarity with digital and creative media technology
  • Ambition to contribute to a school with a strong vision for student success
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support
