The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Art Teacher to join our Technical Arts Faculty. This role offers the chance to inspire students, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a school that values inclusivity, aspiration, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Art lessons that challenge and support students of all abilities
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Art
- Accurately assess and track student progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and resilience
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a cohesive curriculum
- Support the school’s commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high standards in teaching and learning
- Participate in staff development and contribute to the wider school community
- Uphold the school’s values of professionalism, leadership, and community participation
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art education
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills
- Commitment to student progress and achievement
- Ability to deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse student needs
- Experience in working within a school environment that values inclusivity and wellbeing
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Familiarity with digital and creative media technology
- Ambition to contribute to a school with a strong vision for student success
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
