Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Economics lessons to students across a range of year groups, including A level.
  • Develop engaging and challenging curricula that reflect the latest educational standards and student needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s vision and values, including pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.
  • Utilise data to monitor and support student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote a shared vision for student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honours degree.
  • QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in teaching Economics.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and mission.
  • Ability to teach Economics through to A level.

Preferred

  • Experience with Business and Economics curricula.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student wellbeing.
  • Familiarity with the British curriculum and international education standards.
