Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Performing Arts - Music/Drama lessons to students from Early Years through to A Level.
- Develop engaging and creative curricula that align with the British curriculum and promote student achievement.
- Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of students through a proactive and caring approach.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance the learning experience and contribute to the wider curriculum.
- Utilise data to assess student progress and provide appropriate challenge and support.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning.
- Play a key role in safeguarding students and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programme and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good honours degree.
- QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
- Minimum of two years’ experience of teaching.
- Valid ICPC and UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Performing Arts - Music/Drama through to A Level.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse abilities and talents.
- Commitment to the pastoral care and wellbeing of learners.
- Willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
