Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Performing Arts - Music/Drama lessons to students from Early Years through to A Level.
  • Develop engaging and creative curricula that align with the British curriculum and promote student achievement.
  • Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of students through a proactive and caring approach.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance the learning experience and contribute to the wider curriculum.
  • Utilise data to assess student progress and provide appropriate challenge and support.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Play a key role in safeguarding students and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programme and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honours degree.
  • QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience of teaching.
  • Valid ICPC and UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Performing Arts - Music/Drama through to A Level.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse abilities and talents.
  • Commitment to the pastoral care and wellbeing of learners.
  • Willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
