Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Support student progress through effective teaching, assessment, and personalized learning strategies.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities, including music, sports, and DoE initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (QTS).
  • Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a part-time role.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching English as a second language.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience in developing and leading extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with using digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Background in continuous professional development and staff mentoring.
