Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that are engaging, research-informed, and aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of Geography.
  • Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and personalized learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities faculty to develop and implement innovative teaching approaches.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and a valid teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of Geography curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of Ambition, Opportunity, and Community.
  • Fluency in spoken English.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering cross-curricular and project-based learning.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
