Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, plan, and prepare lessons in accordance with the planned curriculum.
  • Ensure all learners achieve their potential through effective teaching and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote creative and innovative teaching practices.
  • Utilise Academy Policies to support and enhance student learning.
  • Contribute to the development of a rigorous and engaging maths programme.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in maths education.
  • Strong knowledge of maths curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Commitment to high standards of behaviour and student engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and project-based learning.
  • Familiarity with the EBacc curriculum and cross-curricular provision.
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on character development and pastoral care.
  • Previous experience in a school with a high socio-economic challenge context.
