Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that inspire and engage students
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies aligned with curriculum requirements
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals

  • Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to departmental initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and assess student progress effectively

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Psychology at Key Stage 4 and 5
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Psychology
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage workload under pressure
  • Commitment to the school’s values of inclusion, excellence, and student achievement

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives
  • Experience with teaching in a multi-academy trust environment
  • Experience with pastoral support or student mentoring
  • Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning
