The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other teachers and support staff.
  • Ensure the EYFS environment is safe, stimulating, and aligned with the school’s values.
  • Work closely with parents and the wider community to support student development.
  • Stay up to date with educational research and best practices in early years education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or senior teaching role.
  • Familiarity with early years policies and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with inclusive education and supporting diverse learners.
